Uruguay
Bible Baptist Church is pleased to support the ministry of Carlos and Lisset DiLeo.
The DiLeos had been serving the Lord for five years in the pastorate in Buenos Aires, Argentina when the Lord called them to church-planting in Uruguay. They arrived in Montevideo on January19, 1984.
This missionary endeavor began with meetings in the living room of the DiLeos’ rented home. With God’s blessing, they were able to win people to Christ and see them follow Him. An independent Baptist church was soon established. By 1995, the church had its own Uruguayan pastor, deacons, and leaders, and was totally self-supporting.

In 1995, the DiLeos started a second church in another suburb of Montevideo. Once again, they began in the living room of a house that they were renting. That young church now has 20 adult members and averages more than 40 people in attendance at their services.

Carlos is actively involved in the work of Independent Bible Baptist Institute. There are presently 26 students in this Bible institute training for Christian service.
Carlos states his long-term goal as follows:
"Our goal, if God permits, is to leave another independent Baptist church established in Montevideo with the same characteristics as the first. Please pray for us and the great ministry of church-planting to which God has called us. Please pray for our support, that God would provide for us according to His will.”
